LOST035 - Recluse - Yellow Moon
BIOGRAPHY
The Recluse act consists of two Norwegian guys, Thomas Nøkling
and Espen Gulbrandsen and in the last couple of months (early 2004),
they've been making a name for themselves with stellar cuts such
as 'Isle Dauphine', their remix of Critical7's 'Lost', 'Emotional
Void' and now 'Yellow Moon'.
Hailed by Oakey as the biggest tune in his box and described
by Pete Tong as exceptional, the first track to be released from
Tilt's forthcoming album is looking like an awesome return to form
for the boys. Andy Moor (Leama & Moor) has joined for the duration
and seems to have added another dimension to Tilt's already great
sound.
With these tracks they've received heavy support from majors
such as Armin van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Markus Schulz, Above &
Beyond, DJ Tiësto, Chris Fortier, Pete Tong and more.
The first track they produced was Critical7 - 'Lost' (Recluse
Mix), which immediately earned airplay on Norwegian radio. Lost
Language picked it up after receiving a demo, and the rest is history.
Recluse's 'Yellow Moon' has been getting massive support from the
limited TP's sent out, including single of the week on the Above
& Beyond Ministry Of Sound show and further plays from Armin Van
Buuren, Scott Bond and John Askew.
A remix comes from new talent Paul Moelands Aka Octagen who
adds a techier beat whilst keeping the classy melody of the original.
