BIOGRAPHY

'Over Emotion' from Israeli producer, Lyric with Spoiled and Smart System providing the remixes.

The sweeping progressive trance sounds on the A side of 'Over Emotion' are provided by Elad Avnon (Israel's answer to Pete Tong and all-round nice guy, DJ, producer, promoter type) under his Spoiled guise which combines emotional melodic strings with tight, skittery beats and solid bass sounds, breaking down to a light-filled synth line before bringing the chords and strings together smoothly after the drop.

Over on the flip Hamburg based production outfit, Smart System, comprising of DJ Phoenix and producer Chopstick, provide the deeper trance sounds on their Souvenir Mix. Retaining the warm spaciness of the A but keeping things low, driving and moody until the breakdown, Smart System then kick back in on the other side with a stepping breakbeat while the strings and FX lay gently on top.
